Knowing that we had a mold problem in the cellar but not realizing how serious it was, we had the good fortune of locating Town & Country Services. They proceeded to have a Quality Management Company to come in for Mold Remediation, only to find a serious toxic condition. Immediately, Town & Country Services came forward with men and equipment to begin a thorough cleaning and to remove items that we had acquired - to end up in the dumpster. Items we wished to keep were sterilized and removed until completion. The hard work of these men passed with flying colors when the inspector returned. I wish to compliment these fellows for their courtesy, consideration, and all were gentlemen. Heading up the team was Tim Carr, his men; Matt Spencer, Jake Carrier, James Thompson, and Ryan Bailey.
Thank you all for a terrific job - well done. Even perhaps preventing an illness to my husband or myself.
Most Sincerely,Mr. & Mrs. Sal Zona

Recently I have had the unfortunate experience of having several long standing undetected water leaks as well as a totally unrelated sewer back-up take place in my home. The coincidental timing of these events is something that is still hard for me to believe, but never the less, the combination of both the sewer problem and the water leaks was what ultimately lead me to contact Town & Country Services of Greenland NH.
I had originally called Town & Country, based on a referral from my plumber, to deal with the sewer back up as I thought at the time that the mold I had seen in an unused basement closet was no big deal. As it turned out, water had been leaking for some time from two "pin hole" leaks in two separate water pipes feeding the first and second floor bathrooms and going straight down into a closet in the basement. It was not until we discovered that the ceiling had fallen down in this closet that we knew we had a problem. This happened to be one day before the above-mentioned sewage back up.
The day after the sewage back up I called Town & Country in the late morning to explain the problem, emphasizing that it was the sewage clean up that I was most concerned about. During the course of the conversation I explained the conditions and the fact that in addition to this I had a water leak and some mold that would also need to be attended to. Without any pressure from me, T&C personnel told me that they would be there that afternoon to access the situation.
From that afternoon on, I will be forever grateful to Paul and Tim from T&C. From the moment they walked into my basement their training and knowledge made it very clear to them that I had a far more serious problem than just a sewage back up to clean up and some water damage to fix. One walk through the basement was all they needed to understand that not only cleaning up the house was going to be a job, but also, and more importantly, they took total responsibility for educating me of the possible health risks that were involved. Steps were taken that day, without even a mention of insurance or money, to ensure the safety of my family and to contain any possible further exposure to the mold spores in my home.
For the next 7 weeks Tim and Paul were in daily contact, giving me updates of the days activities and guiding me through the steps they were taking to keep my family safe and to rid the house of the mold. Both of these gentlemen not only took the care to keep my family safe, but also did the same for their crew and any visitors to the work area. The knowledge and expertise in the area of mold remediation and the passion that this company brought to my job was unlike any other service I had ever received before. Any time of day or night either Tim or Paul was only a phone call or an email away.
Beyond the actual facts of the job, T&C also took on the task of working with the insurance company and being sure that they had all they needed to work through what had become a major claim. They met with the adjuster as needed as well as made calls to the head office to the insurance company to be sure all was clear. In addition to this they kept an ongoing photographic record of the entire jobs progress that included before and after photographs of each and every part of the effected areas of the house as well as photographs of personal articles that were affected.
Throughout the job, special care was taken to not only keep the work area impeccably clean, but to take the extra steps needed to be sure that we were comfortable with the air we were breathing throughout the rest of the house. Even after the remediation work had been completed and the reconstruction phase had begun, Paul continues to be in contact with me and has offered assistance of equipment to help keep the dust levels to a minimum.
I do not have adequate words to express my gratitude to the entire T&C organization. They truly are a professional organization that cares about their customer.
Sincerely,
Jon Clark
